Introduction
The second turn of my solo replay of The Final Frontier.
Narrative
The APA continues to put out the call for colonists for
Murrua (Mars) as well as building the transports to get them there.
The Northern Union gets the Ceres mine operating and also
founds Banbury, a colony on Mars. “This
is a great day for the Union” as he broadcasts live from Banbury. The APA does not offer its congratulations,
unlike other powers that are happy for the NU be not in their way.
The ONEP makes good on bypassing the inner system and begins
mining on Europa. It still has the technical edge on the other powers but it is
a race to how fast they can continue to build up the Jovian presence compared
to how well others will build up the capability to move beyond the
asteroids.
The American Co-operative completes the mines on Mercury and
the Moon. While nearly producing the
same resources as the APA, the TAC still enjoys significant more space
investment from Earth than everyone else.
For interest, here is a short adventure set in 2127 on a spaceship using some homegrown RPG rules.
Game notes
